Anuradha Pathak
Anuradha Pathak is an installation artist and researcher with focus on art and social practice. She completed her masters in painting in 2001 from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, India. The Pro Helvetia studio artist-in-residence grant in 2010, was the turning point in her method of art practice. She often writes on art and culture for different art magazines and designs books & exhibitions to bring forth an archive to a wider audience. She is part of Centre for Arts and Social Practice (CASP) and head the center’s Kolkata Chapter. Her work and research have widely dealt with sustainable thinking and development, indigenous food and cultural politics of a region, architectural legacies with special focus on urban designing and its relationship with cultural politics, socio-economic conditions and psychological impact of the migrants/immigrant in an urban environment. https://realmofhalfmolecule.blospot.in |
